FINALLY GOT AN ITCH.IO PAGE


Hello friends (:

For a long long time, we were quite apprehensive about showing Meow Meow Wizard Arena to other people.

It never felt polished enough, and I personally was always telling myself "Nobody would like it in its current form. I just need two more weeks to clean this up, and it'll be ready, I swear". And that phrase was repeated to myself over and over again. 

There was just so much to learn and so much to do!
I had to learn how to animate for this project.
Suarvae had to learn how to use a brand new networking library to code the multiplayer aspects of this game.
Before we knew it, 18 months had passed, and we had sunk so much time and money into this game.

we knew that sharing our game and our development with the public would be a potentially world-shattering reality check.
What if this creation of ours was just.... not something people wanted?
What if only we, the creators, saw the beauty of our creation?
Just the thought of it freezes me from time to time whenever I work on this game.
Yes, yes, as you read this, you're probably thinking "Thats why you need to do your market research before you start anything!"
I KNOW OKAY.
I KNOW.
BUT WE DIDNT START THIS PROJECT THINKING "LETS SELL A GAME AND MAKE MONEY!"

We started this project simply thinking "Hey, lets make something cool!".
Thats it. Nothing more.
But over the course of 18 months, this project grew from "Something cool" into "Something I want to share (:"

Actually.... Thats most of what I have to say; a collection of justification and excuses of why it took so long to make this page, and why I procrastinated so hard. Why I feel so much fear. But we cant stay in this spot forever. If I think, I will freeze. 
So today

I'll just do.
I'll post this dev log,
Set the page to public
and let people see what we have created.
